New shoulder surgery resource launched

Orthopaedic consultants will be able to access new information via the internet today as one firm launches a new data source on shoulder surgery.

Publishing company Elsevier is releasing the Shoulder Surgery clinical reference tool as part of ten new eBook Specialty Collections.

The service will allow doctors to access information on a range of key brands and current titles aimed at medical specialists.

Mike Takats, vice president of MD Consult, which hosts the new resources, says: "These collections make much more specialty and subspecialty knowledge readily available to institutions and physicians and ultimately should help to improve the quality of medical and surgical care around the world."

The release of the new ebook on shoulder surgery follows the launch in September last year of a resource on orthopaedics and sports medicine.

Consultants seeking the latest developments in the industry can also attend the summit on osteoporosis on May 5th and 8th organised by the International Osteoporosis Foundation and the European Society for Clinical and Economic Aspects of Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis.ADNFCR-2255-ID-19148330-ADNFCR
