The Mallory-Head Modular Calcar System offers unlimited flexibility in addressing proximal-distal mismatch in revision hip surgery.
The modular design allows for independent selection of both proximal and distal components, and the trochanteric claw provides solid re-anchoring for existing trochanteric bone. The multiple calcar options fill the proximal femur adequately and may encourage continuous bone remodeling, leading to a more stable, clinically successful prosthesis.
• Documented 100% survivorship in patients with severe bone loss1
• Forged titanium alloy construct
• Titanium Porous Plasma Spray ingrowth surface
• Five proximal body sizes in each of 3 resection level options
• Multiple distal stem options (straight, bowed, splined, porous)
The modular calcar proximal optims allow the surgeon to fill the proximal femur adiguality and stress the calcar bone with the platform. 3 Resection levels allow placement of bone with implant.
• Calcar platform allows load to be transferred to proximal bone
• Three resection levels (34mm,45mm and 55mm)
• Five body sizes in each resection level (A,B,C,D and E)
• Medial keel to aid in the prevention of rotation
• Titanium closed pore plasma spray
• Trochanteric bolt claw allows reattachment of trochanter
• Lateral holes to allow for additional wire fixation
• Macro sizes available in 65-A, 75-A, 45-F, 55-F and 55-G
