Mallory-Head® Shell (Revision)

The cementless acetabular shells form part of the Mallory-Head® range of femoral and acetabular implants that were developed in co-operation with Dr Thomas H. Mallory, MD, at the Ohio State University, and Dr William C. Head, MD, University of Texas.

Features:

• Available in diameters 40mm to 80mm to meet all patient needs, including revision cases
• Closed Pore Porous Coating for minimal wear debris ingress and long term fixation1 
• Plasma sprayed Porous Coating offers immediate implant stability2
• Incorporates 4 Radial Fins for primary fixation and rotational stability
• Option of Porous Coating with Hydroxyapatite3,4
• ArCom™ polyethylene RingLoc® liner - 47% increase in wear resistance coupled with superior liner stability5,6 
• Option of Metal on Metal Articulation for minimal wear debris
• Option of Solid shells (no dome holes) and shells with both dome and rim holes to meet surgical preference and the requirements of individual cases
