ComposiTCP™ Interference Screw
ComposiTCP™ 30 Interference Screw
ComposiTCP™ 60 Interference Screw
Made from a composite material with an innovative blend of 40% PLDLA and 60% beta Tri-Calcium Phosphate—designed for soft-tissue fixation.
The results reported in an in-vivo animal study2 showed that “in comparison with pure PLA, TCP-containing composite materials had faster degradation kinetics, caused less inflammatory reaction, and promoted contact osteogenesis.”
The ComposiTCP™ 60 Interference Screw has more osteoconductive material than resorbable polymer. In-vitro studies1,2 have shown that increased amounts of TCP may stimulate the proliferation of osteogenous cells.
